Capstone Learning provides personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring for Ontario middle and high school students in math and science. All lessons are taught by Richard Zhang, M.Ed., an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience.
Online lessons are designed to keep students actively involved. Instead of passively listening for an hour, students are guided to think, explain, solve problems, and build confidence through practice.
Learning continues between lessons through review questions, homework support, and practice materials that help students strengthen understanding and retain key concepts.

Hi, I'm Richard Zhang, the tutor behind Capstone Learning. I've been teaching and tutoring since 2006, beginning in a learning centre before eventually managing and owning my own tutoring business. Over the years, I've taught math, science, SAT, SSAT, and math contest preparation to hundreds of students both online and in person.
I hold an Hon. B.Sc. in geosciences from the University of Toronto and a Master's of Education in Curriculum Studies from the same university. My teaching combines practical tutoring experience with a strong background in education, curriculum, and science.
My goal is to help students understand what they are learning, think more clearly, and become more confident in math and science.
